On the evening of Sunday, 21 June, CNS Area Representative for New Town, Mr Kiran Pandey, arranged a visit to 2 Sergeants Street to welcome and bless the newest addition to the Limbu family.

Representing CNS were the Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary, and Area Representative, who arrived at around 5:00 pm to share in the family's joy.

The party was warmly received at the door by the baby's grandfather, Mr Singh Bahadur Limbu, her grandmother, Mrs Rup Maya Begha, Phupu Mrs Sita Dewan, and the proud parents themselves Bhoj and Prabha Limbu. Their home - a lovely house within the former military camp, fittingly named Sergeants Street - provided a fitting setting for such a heartfelt occasion.

The family's hospitality was generous and gracious, and the guests were treated to an excellent spread of food, which was very much enjoyed by all.

The Chair began by speaking fondly of Bhoj and his wife Prabha, recalling their wedding on the outskirts of Colchester some four years ago and offering his warmest congratulations on this beautiful new chapter in their lives. He reflected on what a joy it is to witness such milestones - the wedding, and now the arrival of their daughter, a little angel who came into the world some three months ago. The visit, though long overdue, was all the more meaningful for it. With characteristic warmth, the Chair also gently encouraged the couple to consider giving their daughter a sibling before too long - advice offered with a grandfather's smile.

The Chair then invited the Vice Chair to present Mrs Prabha Limbu with a bouquet of flowers and a congratulatory card to Bhoj, the father, along with a Khada for each of the proud parents and their precious daughter. Khadas were also offered to the grandparents in honour of this special occasion. May their daughter bring boundless happiness, prosperity, and laughter into the lives of all who love her.

After a memorable and thoroughly enjoyable visit, the CNS executives bid a warm farewell to the Limbu family and departed, grateful for the welcome they had received and deeply heartened by the occasion.
