Visit to Welcome the Newborn Son of Mr Sudip and Mrs Ankita Aryal – Sunday 14 June

For various reasons, we had been unable to visit Mr Sudip and Mrs Ankita Aryal since their baby boy arrived about three months ago. We were finally able to do so, thanks to the efforts of Mr Purna Poudel, a dedicated member of the new Area Rep team. The committee members present were the Chair, Advisor Umesh Kumar Pun MVO, Mr Purna Poudel, Area Rep, and Mrs Laxmi Adhikari, Assistant Ladies Coordinator.

On arrival, Mrs Tara Aryal kindly provided refreshments, which were warmly received by the committee members. The Chair drew everyone's attention to the new baby boy and to his grandparents, Krishna and Tara Aryal, who beamed with delight as the committee admired the lovely addition to the family. The Chair remarked that every child benefits from having a sibling, and expressed hope that this would come to pass for the family in the near future.

Unfortunately, Mr Sudip Aryal was unable to join this happy occasion, as he was away in China on business. The Chair asked the Assistant Ladies Coordinator to present Mrs Ankita Aryal with a Khada, flowers, and a congratulatory card. Advisor Umesh Kumar Pun, MVO; Area Rep Mr Purna Poudel; and I each presented a Khada to the grandparents. After a pleasant visit, we left 8 Richmond Road with a happy family and their wonderful new addition.
