‘Charity Boxing Night - Sun 2 Dec 18 at ATIK in Town Centre’

Dear all,

Mahendra, Om Kumar and I had privileges to witness the boxing match between Abhishek Gurung and his opponent Charlie Freeth on Sun 2 Dec 18 at 5.30pm. The match was held at ATIK in the Town Centre.

Abhishek is the son of Om Kumar and Maria Gurung and he has fought his two first two rounds so well, his opponent has to avoid him all the time. On third round Abhishek knocked him out in 46 seconds and won the match. It was so good to see him matured so well and fought with such a determination, zeal, energy and confidently.

We were so proud of him displaying his physical ability and knowledge of boxing as he was in disadvantage as he was only 67kg and 17 years old whereas his opponent was 82kg and 24 years old. But he defeated his opponent without any hesitation.

On behalf of CNS I like to take this opportunity to congratulate Abhishek for his excellent boxing skills and determination; equally a huge congratulation to both Om and Maria having such an inspiring young son and they both must be extremely proud of their son.
