CNS - Post Dashain Message from the Vice Chair - 14 Oct 18

Dear all Executives, Advisors, Committee and general members,

It was my utmost great pleasure to serve and lead you as a Deputy Chairman in absence of the Chairman for this great festive Dashain celebrations 2018, which I hope you all had witnessed & enjoyed thoroughly. Having received a lots of positive feedback from senior citizens to youngsters I would now confirm that the Dashain party has been a very successful and memorable one.

However without further due I would like to give my sincere thanks to those who have given their full support either directly or indirectly to make this important event a huge success. I would especially like to thank all the individuals below from the bottom of my heart:

Food Provision

Both starter & main course meals have been very delicious and more than enough for everyone. A very well done and thanks goes to Gurkha Quay Restaurants, food co-ordinator, Rubin Grg and Hari Malla for their dedication to ensure that everyone in the party is fed properly. Well done!

Beverage co-ordinator

We have introduced new system of using a chip coin as cash exchange system and it work perfectly well. Drink Co-ordinator, Kul Limbu and his family members, Tara Pun, Kumar Rai and Krishna Sunuwar have provided a various assorted of drinks as agreed at the meeting, and he and his team should be praised for the smooth running of drinks service, Well done!

Anchors/Host/MC

Mrs Sanu Subba was the master of ceremony who has undoubtedly been dedicated in smooth running of the program. She worked extremely well to make the evening very interesting and enjoyable throughout the party, for which she truly deserved a very well done and much appreciation for her dedication towards CNS. Well done!

General Secretary

Dilip Mohora is as always very inspirational to all as he has always ensured the completion of all paperwork, including provision of Dashain program, Higher Achievement & Cultural Certificates and running of Raffle draw. He also ran the farewell and welcome to those new comers to CNS. He worked extremely hard in order to achieve all those objective laid down for the evening for which he deserves a very well done and I would praise for his work and dedication. Well done!

Entertainment

Cultural co-ordinator Mitra Grg and Deputy Rita Magar made the evening most outstanding by organising a high level dance and cultural program, for which both of them and all those involved for dancing/singing are truly deserved . My sincere thanks and a very well done.

Area Reps

Amar Limbu and Bishu Sherchan, Mina Gauchan from Gurdon Road, Bhelbahadur Birkata, Arjun Rai, Sangita Sunuwar from St.Michael, Arjun Kumar Sunuwar, Yoshoda Shrestha from New town/Mersea, Karnabahadur Rana from Gurkha Home, Usha Ghale, Jita Rai from Highwood/Greenstate, have all played a leading role for accurate selling of the tickets. Even when they were asked to sell raffle draw tickets and without any comment they have sold and raised a staggering £357.50 for which we have almost more than £100 profit. Thanks also goes to Mrs Kalpana Sherchan who has volunteered in sell the raffle tickets. Each and every area reps are truly deserves a very well done for their exemplary work towards CNS. Thanks also goes to Mr & Mrs Naina Grg for their administrative support to Secretary.

Ladies Co-ordinator

Kamala Khatri has provided Gagris, flowers and helped out the setting up Dipprajawalan, and on behalf of all ladies, also provided farewell gift to Mrs Naumati Garbuja. She worked very hard along with Secretary and Sanu Subba throughput the evening. A very well done and thanks to Kamala Bahini.

Treasurer/asst Treasurer- I would like to appreciate and thank Kiran Grg for the provision of cash & chips for the party and his assistant Laxman Grg for the running of cash exchange to chips in order to serve drinks as smoothly as possible. Well done

DJ/Music system operator - I like to extend my thanks to Mr Sambardhan Tamang and Rijesh Sherchan for the excellent running of the music system throughout the evening. Well done

Clean up/Hand over hall - My thanks also goes to all those who has stayed until last moment in helping out cleaning and handover the hall.

CNS Members - Most importantly, I would like to pass my sincere thanks to all members and their families who has made themselves available to participate in this important event and made the party a successful one. Without your presence the party would not have successful.

Special notes - I would like to request you to check if you hold or have any chip coins as this chip coin is worth of equivalent to what ever the colour of coins you have, to inform to Mr Laxman Grg on 07771 667796 to exchange chip coins into cash.

Finally I and my family wish you all once again a very Happy and prosperous Dashain 2075BS, and also in advance a very Happy Tihar 2075BS.
