''Excellent BBQ after Covid Pandemic- 30 July''

Dear All,

We had an excellent BBQ yesterday. I believe it was one of the best BBQs we have ever organised in our history. In terms of location, organisation, cohesiveness, and the camaraderie we have achieved, go to SSgt Dilip Hirang Rai, who has managed to secure the military venue. I must thank SSgt Dilip on behalf of the CNS for his excellent diplomacy played between the 16 AA Brigade and the members of the military and retired veterans of CNS. With his Risk Assessment, we managed to use the Pavilion and the Area around it. I am grateful for his excellent work. Well done.

To achieve the best, the role played by the Secretary, Cultural Coordinator, Ladies Coordinator, Assistant Ladies Coordinator, Food and Property Coordinator and his Assistant Food Coordinator, Beverages Coordinator, Assistant Treasurer, Area Reps for selling tickets and preparation of the Pavilion yesterday morning by the committee and some of the members and providing Bouncy Castle by Advisor Captain Umesh Pun and Advisor Kiran Gurung erecting his Marquee for the CNS was worth mentioning. I was delighted and well done.

Everyone enjoyed the BBQ; the delicious food and drinks were plentiful, the genuine atmosphere was electric, and the competitions brought a terrific rivalry between the Areas. Some won and some lost, and it was the nature of competition, and everybody knew that only one group or individual could win.

So congratulations to the winners and commiserations to those who could not win. Equally, the children and adults enjoyed the Coconut Shy and Kill the Rat, and Bouncy Castle added flavour to the occasion.

Finally, the togetherness in clearing up everything brought us leaving the Area of the Pavilion to its state when we found it was the hallmark of the day.

I, on behalf of the members of the CNS, like to take this opportunity to thank everyone. Their participation and being part of the BBQ the CNS organised after almost three years.
