Gentlemen and a lady help Colchester Branch of British Legion in street collection at week-ends

‘’Help to Colchester Branch of Royal British Legion on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November’’

Dear all,

I shall be giving my services to collect funds for the subject above on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November at 1000 hours for 3 hours by standing in the street in Colchester High Street with a RBL bucket.

I hope all the veterans will join me collecting funds by standing with RBL buckets at the High Street on the above two days.

Saturday 2nd November - 1000 hours - RV at the entrance to Lion Walk Centre and meet me.

1015 to 1300 hours and then stand at the Street in groups of two and collect funds from general public with RBL bucket.

1255 hours - Return to Colchester Branch of RBL Office and handover buckets and return home.

Sunday 3rd November - 1000 hours - RV at the office of Colchester Branch of RBL Lion Walk Centre. 1015 to 1300 hours - Stand at the Street in groups of two and collect funds from general public with RBL bucket.

1255 hours - Return to Colchester Branch of RBL Office, handover buckets and return home.

Dress - Jacket and tie with overcoat, medals and hat Gurkha or beret cap.

Area Reps are asked to inform their veterans and ensure that maximum attendance is required.

I will be waiting for all the veterans at 0955 hours at the entrance at Lion Walk Centre on Saturday 2nd November.

Hi All,

I like to take this opportunity to thank those gentlemen and lady who turned up today; they managed to collect substantial amount of money.

They were standing at wet and cold November day collecting funds for the British Legion. You were the Stars!!!

We are meeting again at 1000 hours tomorrow morning to collect further funds for Colchester Branch of British Legion. I hope more individuals will join us tomorrow and spend three hours to collect funds; support the injured and wounded soldiers, sailors and airmen.

फ्यामीलीहरु पनि हेर्न आउनु सक्नु हुन्छ तर परेडमा भागलिन पाउँदैन।

ट्रेजररले ब्रिगेड अफ गाेर्खाजकाे ब्याज भएकाे पपीकाे रिथ चेयर काे. ने. साे. लाई १० बजे हस्तरान्तर गर्ने।

परेड सकेपछि सबैजना टावनहल भित्र जाने र जलपान गर्ने

सायद १ बजेतिर सबै कार्यक्रम सकिनेछ, त्यसपश्चात आ-आफ्नाे घर फर्कन सकिन्छ। सक्दाे धेरै भेटरनहरुलाइ भेट्ने आशा गरेकाे छु।
