Household Support Funding Application for 2021-22

Dear all,

I have submitted the subject above for £1,000.00 for the following families, and I am pleased to inform you that the authorities have approved my application. So they will be depositing £1,000.00 in the account of Colchester Nepalese Society by today.

Mr Iswar Bahadur Sahi and Mrs Saraswoti Sahi. His wife just arrived from Nepal and can't work. Address Flat 15 Abbeygate House CO2 7HA.

Mrs Maya Limbu - Single mother with two young daughters - 88 Lisle Road, Colchester CO2 7SA.

Mr Hari Limbu is suffering from asthma, and he has not been working for a long time. 13 Dunnock Way, CO4 3UP.

Mrs Tanka Maya Limbu hasn't received her pension credit. 87 Wincock Road, Colchester CO1 2BQ.

Mr Thaman Bahadur Pun, receiving little pension credit. Abbeygate House, St John Green, Colchester CO2 7DA

Mrs Nanda Kumari Sherchan receiving little pension credit. Abbeygate House, St John Green, Colchester CO2 7DA

Miss Ashtha Sherchan (Treasurer) is asked to withdraw £1,000.00 in the £20 enumeration and hand it over to the Vice-Chair. So that the Vice-Chair and Area Reps, can hand over £240 to Mr Ishwar Bahadur Sahi and £200 each to Mrs Maya Limbu, Mr Hari Limbu and £160 to Mrs Tanka Maya Limbu, £100 each to Mr Thaman Bahadur Pun and Mrs Nanda Kumari Sherchan.

I am allocating £240 to Mr Iswar Bahadur Sahi because his wife has just arrived from Nepal and can't work, and Mrs Tanka Maya Limbu is to feed herself.

I hope you are all happy with the distribution of funds.

Dear all CNS members,

As per the CNS Support Funding request through Community 360 they have agreed and provided grant of £1000 for those needy household. As directed by Chair, Maj (Retd) Udaibahadur Gurung MBE, on behalf of CNS Colchester, I, Vice Chair, Capt (Retd) Rajendra Sherchan MBE along with CNS Area rep, Bhel Birkata, Bhoj Shrestha (in absence of Mrs Yoshoda Shreshtha) and Mrs Damber Limbu (in absence of Mrs Usha Ghale and Mrs Jita Rai) have handed over the grant of £800 to the following CNS households:

Mr Iswar Bahadur Sahi - £240 Gurkha Home

Mrs Tanka Maya Limbu - £160 New Town

Mrs Maya Limbu - £200 New Town

Mr Hari Limbu - £200 Highwood/Greenstead

Note: Due to the change of circumstances of Mr Dipendra Limbu, the grant of £200 allocated to him is withdrawn and it will be allocated to the needy households in due course. The grant of £200 will be handed back to the Treasurer CNS for safe custody.

On behalf of Chair, Maj (Retd) Udaibahadur Gurung MBE, I had a honour to be a part of this presentation and hoped those members who have received will have a little ease on their financial burden.
