Many thanks to Grassroots for the £500 Funding

Dear all,

As promised I attended Grassroots Charity AGM at 2.30pm at the Parish Hall at Brightlingsea today.

Towards the end of their AGM, the Mayor of Brightlingsea awarded nine grants of £200, £300, £500 and £1000 to different community groups, shelters and coffee shops. We were one of the community groups who have been awarded the grant.

I on behalf of CNS received the grant of £500 to pay for the cost of hall for intergenerational integration function during Dashain in October at Thomas Lord Audley School.

It is good news that we don’t have to pay for the Hall from CNS account in October, the grant will pay for it. I will handover the cheque to the treasurer tomorrow.
