Newly weds were made welcome in Colchester!!!

‘’Visit to Sagar and Shristi Shrestha’’

The Executive Committee paid a visit to Sagar and Shristi Shrestha at No 24 Atlee Gardens, Colchester at 5pm on Monday 21 October. Shristi has arrived recently from Nepal to join her husband and her Sasura Mr Bhojkumar Shrestha, Sasu Mrs Yashoda Shrestha and her Dewar.

At around 6pm the Secretary brought everyone’s attention and requested the Chair to say few words about the reason we were visiting them tonight.

The Chair made special welcome to Shristi on behalf of Colchester Nepalese Society. He further said that she will be a very good member and take part in its activities. Once the Chair has completed his short speech, the Ladies Coordinator gave Shristi a khada and bouquet of flower; the Chair gave a khada to Sagar, the Secretary and Area Rep New Town gave a card, followed by khada each to father Mr Bhojkumar Shrestha and mother Mrs Yashoda Shreshtha.

Shristi was a very good chef and we had some food prepared by her and left at around 6.45pm having accomplished in welcoming Shristi in Colchester.
