''Poppy Fund Collection''

Poppy Collection 2022

Today was the 3rd day of poppy collection by our CNS members overseen by our Chair and Vice- Chair.

During this time of the year, our veterans and their wives have been helping the Colchester Branch of the Royal British Legion(RBL) to collect funds for the Poppy Appeal.

The CNS members helped out with the public collections on Saturday, 5 November, Sunday, 6 November and today Saturday, 12 November, from 10 am to 1 pm.

The members gathered at RBL shop at Lion Walk just before 10am to collect the collection boxes and were stationed around the town for the public donations.

The funds raised helps the RBL continue its vital work supporting the Armed Forces community.

We would like to thank all those members who gave their time and effort for this worthy cause.
