"Poppy Fund Collection to help Colchester Branch of the British Legion - Saturday 3 Nov"

The following lady and Gentlemen came to Lion Walk in order to collect funds for Colchester Branch of British Legion.

May I take this opportunity to thank them from the bottom of my heart for their diligence, commitment and dedication to help the veterans who are unable to look after themselves.

I have weighed their collection boxes and they were all very heavy that means they have collected significant amount of money for the Colchester Branch of the British Legion.

The photographs below show they were deployed in teams of two and also a group photograph of all those who managed to take part.

Well done everyone of them for their time and efforts.

I hope those who were unable to come today will join me tomorrow. Timings remain 11am to 1pm and RV Lion Walk.

Look forward to seeing more tomorrow.
