The annual BBQ was organised by the committee members and our die hard supporters to an outstanding conclusion and I must pay tribute to everyone of them for their diligence, commitment, dedication, imagination and excellent team work.
It started with the Secretary designing tickets and Media Coordinator printing them. Then the Area Reps selling the tickets to members.
My goodness, with the hard work put in by the Area Reps we have managed to bring the maximum number of attendees yesterday. I am chuffed to bits. I must congratulate Bhel Birkata, Arjun Rai, Sangita Sunuwar from St Michael Area, Amar Limbu, Mina Pun, Bishu Sherchan from Gurdon Road Area, Arjun Sunuwar, Yashoda Shrestha from New Town Area, Jita Rai, Usha Gurung from Highwoods and Greenstead Area and Surya Bahadur Gurung and Karna Bahadur Rana from Gurkha Home, without their hard work, commitment and dedication it would not have been possible to muster so many members. Well done!!!
On the day the following members were at Berrifiled Lawn at 0900 hours to prepare the venue including pitching marquee, erecting 12 x 12 ft tent, setting up tables and chairs for everyone and including setting up BBQ stands.

Once the health and safety brief was completed the Master of Ceremony Sanu Subba took over and continued running the event in an excellent manner with her usual style and made the day such a memorable one. Well done!!!

Finally the Chair said few words and presented Arjun Sanam £300 as our token of love which was collected from the members on the floor and rounded up the evening by Master of the Ceremony Sanu Subba at around 2115 hours.
Firstsite and Berrifield Lawn - We must thank the CEO of Firstsite for allowing us to use Berrifield Lawn and it was well and truly top class facility and easy access for everyone.
Clearing up in the evening - The Members were very forthcoming and dismantled the marquee and tents in no time and litters were picked up and dropped them at the skip. We left Berrifield Lawn as tidy as possible.
Attendance of the members - I must thank the general members for their turn up and without their attendance it could not have been as entertaining as it has been and well done to every one.
