I must thank the above personalities for setting aside their work and family commitment and reminiscing the World War where our forefathers fought for the British Empire and thus we are living here today.

Mr Dilip Mohora at his usual interpreting role asked a question on behalf of Mrs Sanu Subba to Dr David Omissi about the letters written by the 200,0000 plus Gurkha soldiers who fought for the Empire not mentioned during his presentation.

Dr Omossi replied that he believed due to inability to read and write and also loyalty shown by the brave Gurkha Soldiers, the Officers haven’t had to proof read their letters that is why it was not mentioned.

I also like to take this opportunity to thank Om Kumar Gurung for deciphering Jas Bahadur Rai’s song and composed music and the song was sung by Laxman Gurung and his colleagues and music was provided by Om Kumar Gurung himself and Umesh Pun.

We must all shed some tears on our forefathers will, determination, integrity and commitment from which we are all known as fierce, loyal and dedicated individuals.

Hats off to our forefathers.

Well done.
