''Visit to Chandan Gurung wife of Bal Krishna Gurung at Wattisham Airfield - Sun 12 Jan 20''

The Executives (the Chair, Secretary, Culture Coordinator, Asst Treasurer, Area Rep St Michaels Bhel Birkata and Area Rep Highwoods and Greenstead Usha Gurung) visited Mrs Chandan Gurung wife of Bal Krishna Gurung to extend our sympathy and condolences at the demise of her father in Nepal. Due to her previous engagement the Ladies Coordinator was unable to accompany us.

The Chair spoke about her tragedy and losing a father at the age of 72 years is very difficult to apprehend in the first place and getting into terms is even difficult and harder for which I believe any human being should not go through this process in the future. But he assured to Chandan that life is like this and one has to go through this process even if we don’t like it.

He further asked Chandan to understand the realities of life and get on with her life as much as she can.

The Executives left after about three hours being with Chandan and her husband having presented a Rupa by Area Rep Highwoods and Greenstead Usha Gurung and the Chair and with usual CNS hamper bag, a sympathy/condolences card and bouquet of flower.

I must thank the executives for finding time visiting Chandan at Wattisham Airfield on a Sunday evening.
