It was Monday, 22 December, and the CNS Yoga Team celebrated Christmas 2025 with real energy and enthusiasm.
We kicked off the session with almost an hour of Zumba, followed by a well-earned water break. Once refreshed, the ladies of CNS sprang into action, preparing a wonderful spread of food they had generously brought along.
The menu included alu dam, a variety of chana dishes, niuro, doughnuts, khir, fruits, and, of course, a beautifully decorated CNS Christmas cake, masterminded and coordinated under the guidance of Sami Tulachan, whose creativity and attention to detail truly shone through.
We were waiting for our Advisor, Captain Umesh Kumar Pun MVO, and his better half, Rupa, but as they had not yet arrived, we decided not to delay the festivities. The cake was cut, and the Christmas celebration was officially underway.
A short while later, Umesh and Rupa arrived, and Rupa immediately began recording the joyful moments for her YouTube channel, where the celebration is already live and running.
Amid the festive atmosphere and delicious food, Udaibahadur Gurung MBE, Chair of CNS, thanked everyone for attending the yoga class and encouraged participants to bring along friends and family in the future, which will help CNS continue to apply for funding. He gave special thanks to Sami Tulachan for her dedication, commitment, and the outstanding way she leads both Zumba and Yoga sessions, a credit that is richly deserved.
The Chair also expressed heartfelt appreciation to all the ladies who helped prepare the food and to those who thoughtfully provided paper plates, cups, napkins, tea, coffee, and all the other essentials that made the celebration run so smoothly. The success of the event truly belonged to everyone involved. Special thanks were also extended to Buddhi Tulachan for collecting the cake on behalf of CNS.
Well done to everyone, and thank you all for making this Christmas celebration so warm, joyful, and memorable. It is sincerely appreciated on behalf of CNS.
