As usual this year’s “The Big Sunday” celebration took place at the First Site, Lewise Garden, Colchester, CO1 1JH between 12:00 to 17:00 hours under the coordination of Mr Dorian Kelly. A variety of food stalls, Artefacts and Musical displays were in place. Colchester Nepalese Society, under Major (Retd) Udaibahadur Gurung MBE, the Chairman took part in various activities. To name the few, Nepalese food and artefact displays, cultural and traditional dances etc. It was fantastic and joyful occasion to enjoy during the weekend break and was attended by a mass of people from the locality.

The chairman appreciated the team works shown by all and thanked them from the bottom of his heart. The Nepalese cuisine prepared by Kamala Khatri and her team was on the top of the lists, which was cooked using fire woods. It was delicious and enjoyed by all who were given to taste free of charge. The cash spent on food had been recovered from Dorian Kelly, the coordinator. Mr Kelly extended his thanks and congratulations to all the participants. The event was certainly a most successful and enjoyable one. The Chair also thanked the Secretary for joining the society’s team even for a short-while after his work.
