Dear All,

As you were aware, the late Set Bahadur Gurung left this world on Thursday, 1 June 2023, in Kathmandu and went to eternity, leaving us behind, especially his elder son Santosh Gurung and his family in the UK and his wife and younger son and his family in Kathmandu. Santosh and his family could not go to Kathmandu for various reasons, but he could conduct all the rituals from the UK.

Santosh organised a chokhyaune karayakram as part of the rituals on Tuesday, 13 June. But as a society, we could not visit him and his family then. So the society decided to visit his family on Sunday, 25 June. We gave him and his family a RUPA each and a CNS hamper bag and assured him that life must go on and we must keep his late father's memories alive by remembering him as much as possible and doing things he liked most. We also told him that we don't like seeing our parents go to eternity, but as human beings, we have to leave this world one day, and we eventually go to eternity, as this is the life cycle.

We were at 8 Kohima Road quite late in the evening. Eventually, everyone went to their residents, thanking Santosh and his family for the ritual, remembering his father, and giving everyone a chance to remember him at his residence.

May late Set Bahadur Gurung remain in eternity happily forever.

I must also thank Area Rep St Michael for administering and organising the program. Well done.
