In a delightful deviation from the usual, the annual Tripasa celebration unfolded on Tuesday, 14 November 2023, diverging from its traditional date of Bhai Tika on Wednesday, 15 November. The credit for this seamless adjustment goes to the dedicated efforts of Chhatra Limbu and Secretary Mukti Limbu, who orchestrated an evening filled with tradition, camaraderie, and cultural significance.
The vibrant gathering commenced just after 4 pm at Studio 2 at Firstsite, where Chhatra Limbu skilfully set the stage for the Tripasa festivities. The Secretary, Mukti Limbu, added to the ambience by graciously providing drinks for the occasion, setting the tone for an evening of celebration and community spirit.
Members of the CNS (presumably a community or organization) enthusiastically participated in the festivities, turning the evening into a memorable occasion. The diverse participation showcased the unity and shared joy within the community, adding to the cultural richness of the event.
As the evening progressed, the number of participants swelled, with nearly 40 members of the CNS actively engaging in and savouring the Tripasa experience. This not only emphasized the significance of the event but also highlighted the strong sense of community that Tripasa fosters.
The culmination of Tripasa occurred at 9 pm, signalling the end of the formal celebration. Undoubtedly, the success of the event can be attributed to the meticulous planning and dedication of Chhatra Limbu and Secretary Mukti Limbu. Organizing Tripasa at the last minute is no small feat, and their efforts deserve special acknowledgment.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to Chhatra Limbu and the secretary for their swift and effective organization, which ensured that Tripasa was not just an event but a cherished tradition kept alive. Their commitment to preserving cultural practices and fostering community bonds is truly commendable.
In closing, congratulations are in order for Chhatra Limbu and Secretary Mukti Limbu. Through their dedication and hard work, they have not only successfully organized Tripasa but also contributed to the endurance of cultural heritage within the CNS community. The evening of 14 November 2023 will undoubtedly be remembered as a testament to the strength and vibrancy of tradition within the community.
