Dear Members,
It allowed the CNS Executives to courtesy visit two families on Sunday, 2 April 2023. First, at 6 pm, we called Mrs Mandy Gurung, wife of Mr Rubin Gurung, at their residence at Eight Acres Lane. We shared her grief about losing her father a few weeks ago. Losing a father is a blow to her morals and conscience. Nobody should bear such a tragedy; the Chair spoke to Mrs Mandy Gurung, and he further said that life has to bear unthinkable incidents that take place, whether we like it or not, but life must go on. So, he assured her that CNS could give any moral support if needed. Could she tell the executives through her Area Rep if we can help?
The Ladies' Coordinator and Area Rep St Michaels, Mr Mahesh Gurung, presented a sympathy card, Rupa and CNS Hamper bag on behalf of CNS to Mrs Mandy Gurung; we then had first-class refreshments provided by the family. The CNS executives, Vice Chair, Ladies Coordinator, Area Rep St Michaels and the Chair, were present, but the Secretary and Treasurer could not attend due to work. My thanks go to Area Rep St Michael for providing the administration of the day; well done.
We left the family at around 7 pm, assuring the assistance from CNS at any time she needs in the future; we then went to see Mrs Dipta Dewan wife of Mr Ratna Dewan, at No 5 Littlefield Road.

Dear Members,
We arrived at No 5 Littlefield Road just after 7 pm and saw Mrs Dipta Dewan recovering at home. She has spent a few months in a London hospital and has had a few operations recently. It is our pleasure to report that she is doing well and recovering. All her ailments have almost gone, and her stitches are recovering too. It is excellent news. The Chair spoke about her recovery from ailments, and the CNS is pleased that she was on the mend. The Ladies' Coordinator and Area Rep, St. Michael Area, presented a get-well card, bouquet, Rupa and CNS hamper bag to Mrs Dipta Dewan and wished her a speedy recovery.
After some refreshments prepared by Mrs Mukti Limbu, the CNS Executives left at 20:00 for their residents.
