The CNS Executives visited Mr Chanda B Tamang on Sunday, 9 April, at 5:30 pm because he lost his mother in Nepal some time ago. She was an 88 years young lady known as Sundar Maya Tamang by name. She was up and running and suddenly fell ill in one of the evenings. Despite being administered by the doctors in the hospital, she passed away quietly after four days of sickness. We shared his grief about losing his mother a few weeks ago. Losing a mother is a blow to an individual's morals, but she lived respectable years for which Chandra must be proud. Everyone likes their parents to live forever, but it is not possible. Nobody should bear such a tragedy; the Chair told Mr Chandra that life has to bear unthinkable incidents, whether we like it or not, but life must go on. So, he assured him that CNS could give any moral support if needed. Could he tell the executives through his Area Rep if we can help? The Ladies' Coordinator and Area Reps, New Town Dhan Bhujuwar, presented a sympathy card, bouquet, and CNS Hamper bag on behalf of CNS to Mr Chandra Tamang; we then had first-class refreshments provided by the family. The CNS executives, Vice Chair, Secretary, Ladies Coordinator, Area Rep New Town and Chair, were present, but the Treasurer could not attend due to work. My thanks go to Area Rep New Town for providing the administration of the day; well done. We left the family at around 7:30 pm, assuring the assistance from CNS at any time he needs in the future. Udai B Gurung MBE Chair/Trustee CNS
