Dear All,
It was sad to hear about the passing of Mrs Dhan Kumari Limbu, DOB 01/01/1940, mother of Raj Kumar Limbu in Nepal, on Friday 18 March. She was laid to rest in Dharan. Her final ritual has taken place in Nepal; similarly, Mrs Raj Kumar Limbu organised a ritual from her side in Colchester yesterday. Where relatives, neighbours, friends and members of Colchester Nepalese Society were gathered and gave our condolences to Mrs Raj Kumar Limbu.
The Chair, on behalf of CNS, spoke about the late Mrs Dhan Kumari Limbu and human life is like this, and we have to go one day. It is a matter of time which we can't tell. It is uncertain, and whatever happens in life, we have to get on with it, and life must move on.
The Chair offered his sincere condolences to Mrs Raj Kumar Limbu and their two sons. Raj must have done his best to complete his mother's final ritual among the relatives, friends, and neighbours in Dharan.
We offered CNS's hamper bag and asked Mrs Raj Kumar to cope with the tragedy of losing a mother in law, which is incomprehensible.
I must thank those friends, especially Chhatra Limbu, who helped Mrs Raj Kumar spend a few nights at their residence and arranged the visitors' preparation and visit yesterday.
I thank them all from my heart; we left just before 5 pm Mrs Raj Kumar's residence. The photographs of the visit to follow shortly. I also like to take this opportunity to thank the Area Reps from St Michael (Bhel, Sangita and Arjun) and Assistant Ladies Coordinator (Sanu) for attending the visit.
