"Tihar Celebration Success"

The Tihar celebration at Studios 1 and 2 at Firstsite was a tremendous success, thanks to the efforts of our amazing organizers and the lively participation of nearly 100 attendees! The evening was filled with joy as everyone enjoyed the dice and marriage games, exchanged Tihar wishes, and bonded as a community with CNS members.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Damar, Jit, Kumar Limbu, our Ladies' Coordinator Kamala Khatri, Area Rep Gurkha Home Jas Kumari Gurung, Khagendra and Shova for their excellent dance during the Deusi collection and Yal Kumari Pun for their hard work in organizing dice, marriage games, drinks, momos, and the Deusi collection. Special thanks to Yal Kumari Pun for providing delicious momos to energize everyone!

The evening was also a financial success, raising £110 from leftover drinks and £165 from the Deusi collection (we presented £15 each to Damar, Jit and Kumar Limbu and £10 for two pairs of playing cards purchased by Damar), (£165 - £55) a total profit of £110 from the Deusi collection). Therefore, we made £220 profit for CNS (£110 from leftover drinks and £110 from the Deusi collection). A big thank you to the organizers who made a healthy profit for CNS and all the members who gave their time to attend and enjoy this wonderful Tihar celebration.
