VISIT TO MRS LILA GAUCHAN AT HER RESIDENCE AT 58 GURDON ROAD - SUN 22 SEP 2024

Dear Lila Gauchan (Wife of Mr.Sakindraman Gauchan) bahini,


We were deeply saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved father, Late Mr. Buddhi Lal Sherchan at the age of 91 year old late last year, and due to unavailability of Mrs Gauchan, Area Rep, Dipen Mohara finally managed to hold a CNS condolence visit today at 3:30pm.


Due to prior an engagement the Chair, Maj(Ret’d) Udaibahadur Gurung MBE and Treasurer, Dinesh Thapa could not attend and missed the visit. The visit was attended by a host of CNS Executives, led by the Vice Chair, Capt(Ret’d) Rajendra Sherchan MBE, and including Secretary, Mukti Limbu, Ladies Coordinator, Kamala Khatri, Advisor, Kiran Gurung, Area Rep, Dipen Mohara and Asst Food coord, Laxman Gurung. 


The visit from the CNS executives and the heartfelt words shared by the Vice Chair were a testament to the love and support surrounding you. While we cannot fully comprehend the pain you're experiencing, please know that you are not alone. Losing your father must be an immense burden to bear, and our hearts ache for you during this difficult period of grieving. As you navigate this challenging journey, may you find solace in your father's cherished memories and your family's strength. Lean on us whenever you need support, for we, as CNS stand by you every step of the way.


As usual, a condolence card, bouquet of flower and CNS Hamper bag is presented to Mrs Lila Gauchan and family by Ladies Coordinator. 


Mrs Gauchan gave a short speech to extend her warm welcome, thanks and have felt very emotional appreciation of the presence of CNS Executive team. Mr Sakindraman Gauchan also called personally to Vice Chair from his work place while we were in his home and passed his kind appreciation of CNS’s condolences visit to his family. A delicious variety of refreshment served by Gauchan family.

Dear Vice chairman Capt (Ret'd) Rajendra Sherchan MBE and all the respected members of Colchester Nepali Society.



First of all, I would like to apologise for not being able to attend the condolence programme due to my work commitment. However,Me my wife Lila and our family are extremely grateful for your condolence visit in our home yesterday. We must admit that we have found extremely difficult to process the loss of our beloved father in law. But that is rule of the life.


However, with the love and support of all our friends, family and community like your visit from yesterday. Your kind words, we have found comfort, solace and strength. We are forever thankful for this.
